Senghor Logistics accompanied 5 customers from Mexico to visit our company's cooperative warehouse near Shenzhen Yantian Port and the Yantian Port Exhibition Hall, to check the operation of our warehouse and to visit a world-class port.
The Mexican customers are engaged in the textile industry. The people who came to China this time include the main project leader, purchasing manager and design director. Previously, they had been purchasing from Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang regions, and then transported from Shanghai to Mexico. During the Canton Fair, they made a special trip to Guangzhou, hoping to find new suppliers in Guangdong to provide new options for their new product lines.
Although we are the customer's freight forwarder, this is the first time we have met. Except for the manager in charge of purchasing who has been in China for nearly a year, the others came to China for the first time. They are surprised that China's current development is completely different from what they imagined.
The warehouse of Senghor Logistics covers an area of nearly 30,000 square meters, with a total of five floors. The space is sufficient to meet the shipping needs of medium and large corporate customers. We have served British pet products, Russian shoe and clothing customers, etc. Now their goods are still in this warehouse, maintaining the frequency of weekly shipments.

After visiting the warehouse, we both had a meeting to discuss how to continue our cooperation in the future.
November has already entered the peak season for international logistics, and Christmas is not far away. Customers want to know how Senghor Logistics’ service is guaranteed. As you can see, we are all freight forwarders who have been rooted in the industry for a long time. The founder team has an average of more than 10 years of experience and has good relations with major shipping companies. We can apply for must-go service for customers to ensure that customers' containers can be transported in time, but the price will be higher than usual.
In addition to providing freight services to ports from China to Mexico, we can also provide door-to-door services, but the waiting time will be relatively long. After the cargo ship arrives at the port, it is delivered to the customer's delivery address by truck or train. The customer can unload the goods directly at his warehouse, which is very convenient.
If an emergency occurs, we have corresponding methods to respond. For example, if port workers go on strike, truck drivers will be unable to work. We will use trains for domestic transportation in Mexico.
After visiting our warehouse and having some discussions, the Mexican customers were very satisfied and more confident about Senghor Logistics’ freight service capabilities, and said that they would gradually let us arrange shipments for more orders in the future.
Then we visited the exhibition hall of Yantian Port, and the staff warmly received us. Here, we have seen the development and changes of Yantian Port, how it has gradually grown from a small fishing village on the shore of Dapeng Bay to the world-class port it is today. Nowadays, the automation and intelligence of Yantian Port are constantly improving, and the concept of green environmental protection is always implemented in the development process. We believe that Yantian Port will give us greater surprises in the future, carrying more cargo transport and helping the booming development of import and export trade. Mexican customers also lamented after visiting the efficient operation of Yantian Port that the largest port in South China truly deserves its reputation.
After all the visits, we arranged to have dinner with the customers. Then we had been told that having dinner around 6 o'clock was still early for Mexicans. They usually have dinner at 8 o'clock in the evening, but they came here to do as the Romans do. Meal time may be just one of the many cultural differences. We are willing to learn about each other's countries and cultures, and we have also agreed to visit Mexico when we have the opportunity.
Mexican customers are our guests and friends, and we are very grateful for the trust they place in us. The customers were very satisfied with our arrangement. What they saw and felt during the day convinced the customers that future cooperation would be smoother.
