Recently, Senghor Logistics has also shipped some containers from China to Latin America, such as Caucedo in the Dominican Republic and San Juan in Puerto Rico. The situation encountered is that the ships were delayed and the entire voyage took almost two months. No matter which shipping company you choose, it will basically be like this. So please pay attention to the changes in ocean freight rates and the extension of cargo shipping time in Central and South America.
The successive price changes of shipping companies make people feel that the peak season has quietly arrived. As for the US line, the import volume of the United States has increased rapidly in the past few months. Both Los Angeles and Long Beach Ports have ushered in the busiest July on record, which makes people feel that the peak season seems to have arrived early.
At present, Senghor Logistics has received the US line freight rates from shipping companies for the second half of August, which have basically increased. Therefore, the emails we sent to customers also let customers have psychological expectations in advance and be prepared. In addition, there are uncertain factors such as strikes, so potential problems such as port congestion and insufficient capacity have also followed.
