On May 28th, accompanied by the sound of sirens, the first CHINA RAILWAY Express (Xiamen) train to return this year arrived at Dongfu Station, Xiamen smoothly. The train carried 62 40-foot containers of goods departing from Solikamsk Station in Russia, entered through the Erenhot port, and arrived in Xiamen after 20 days.

The opening of the train this time marks the restart of Xiamen connected return channel to Russia after two years. The train carried about 1,625 tons of Russian writing paper, and the value of the shipment was nearly 7 million yuan. The successful launch of the return train can more effectively meet the logistics needs of foreign-funded foreign trade enterprises in Fujian, enhance the comprehensive transportation efficiency of the international freight system of the train, and boost the radiation capacity of Xiamen's port logistics network and create a regional supply chain logistics hub. At the same time, steadily improve the level of trade facilitation in the Xiamen Free Trade Zone, and effectively expand the breadth and depth of Sino-Russian trade cooperation.

Since August 2015, the CHINA RAILWAY Express (Xiamen) trains have been traveling on the criss-crossing railway tracks of the Eurasian continent, not only delivering "Made in China" to countries along the route, but also helping enterprises in countries along the route to open the door to the Chinese market and becoming a new international logistics channel connecting Eurasia. At present, the CHINA RAILWAY Express (Xiamen) train has been stably opened to Europe, Central Asia, and Russia three international freight lines, reaching Poznan, Poland, Budapest, Hungary, Hamburg, Duisburg, Germany, Moscow, Russia, and Almaty in Central Asia , Tashkent and more than 30 cities in 12 countries.
