Recently, the fifth wildfire in Southern California, the Woodley Fire, broke out in Los Angeles, causing casualties.
Affected by this serious wildfire, Amazon may make a decision to close some FBA warehouses in California and restrict truck access and various receiving and distribution operations based on the disaster situation. Delivery time is expected to be delayed in a large area.
It is reported that the LGB8 and LAX9 warehouses are currently in a power outage state, and there is no news of resuming warehouse operations. It is predicted that in the near future, truck delivery from LA may be delayed by 1-2 weeks due to road control in the future, and other situations need to be further verified.

Impact of the Los Angeles Fire:
1. Road Closure
The wildfire caused the closure of several major roads and highways such as the Pacific Coast Highway, the 10 Freeway, and the 210 Freeway.

Before the infrastructure returns to normal, the storage, sorting and distribution of goods in the warehouse will be hindered, which may last for days to weeks.
4. Delivery delay
Due to road closures, traffic congestion, and labor shortages, the delivery of goods will be delayed. To restore normal delivery efficiency, it will take some time to clear the backlog of orders after traffic and labor are restored to normal, which may last for several weeks.
